or you could try my approach and instead of writing "please do not bend or fold" on the envelope, you could always write, "I am related to the guy that got caught blowing up mailboxes and it all started with his mail carrier bending his autograph returned envelopes" LOL... ok, maybe that ain't such a good idea... if anyone wants to know where you got that idea from.... my name is ADMIN LOL... take care ya'll and have a great day! Be safe and good luck with all your requests!

Hi Grim :D

Welcome to the forum!!

If you're going to fold your SASE in half, why don't you include a piece of cardboard in the envelope you're putting everything into so that the photos don't bend? The celebrity will probably take that piece of cardboard and put it in your SASE when he/she signs your photos.

Or else, you can try and fold the edges of your SASE, enough to allow it to fit the envelope you're sending everything into. There's less chance that someone will bend this way as the fold lines are on the edge and not right in the middle.

Good luck!

It could get bent in the mail even if you DIDN'T fold it in half!

I would bend the return envelope in half, put it in another envelope and hope the postage people can read the DO NOT BEND on the envelope. :mrgreen:

I have tried it this way and everything has been ok.

Best of wishes for your letter. {up}

Hello there. I'm new at the forum, so i hope i'm posting this in the right section. Anyway, i'm sending a letter to Kate Beckinsale and i bought A4 glossy paper to print 2 photos. And the problem are the envelopes. The picture would fit perfectly in the A4 sized envelope, but i don't have a little bit bigger envelope to send this SASE in. The only ones larger are those huge cusioned brown envelopes. And there isn't any a smaller ones than A4 except for the A5, which is too small for a picture. And i will put it in a frame and i would really like to send 2 normal A4 sized pictures. I was at 2 stationer's and they said that these are the only types of envelopes. I just wanted to hear your opinions and the info on how do you send the normal 8 x 12 photos.

Thanks. :mrgreen:
