Yes, IRC's do have an expiry date.
The one below are the old IRC's - these will expire on the
31st of December 2006 and will not be exchangable for stamps after this date.
Post offices should now be selling the new IRC's (see below). These have an expiry date of the
31st of December 2009. I know for a fact that Australia Post sell these ones now.
