They've had new IRC's for a little while now. I think from memory this was the second time I had purchased one of the new IRC's - with both occasions from different post offices.

I think the staff member may have gotten a little confused, but I'm pretty sure (unless something has happened between the time I bought my IRC's and now) that they still do stock them.

The last time I bought an IRC was the end of September (28th to be exact). They were selling the newer IRC's valid until 31 December 2009.

The staff member did not mention anything about them being recalled at all. I haven't purchased one since then, so I don't really know if something has happened between then and now.

When you mean recalled, do you think the lady could have meant that the older IRC's (ones valid until 31 December 2006) were recalled - and they hadn't received/not getting any of the new IRC's?

Also, have you tried going to another post office to purchase IRC's?

It's highly unlikely that they would put signs up - considering they aren't the best sellers :lol:. Sometimes when I purchase IRC's the staff member will even say that they haven't sold one in ages ... :roll:
