Hi Ty Hope :D

You can either purchase photos from somewhere (e.g. eBay, allposters.com, local shops), or print them out yourself (or at a photo lab).

If you print them out yourself, you'll need to search the internet for images that you want to print out.

Thanks for the advice! There are a ton of people that I want to eventually try and send to. Gonna give Bob Sapp a try first.

Where do you suggest getting good photos of various people from? Thanks again!!

Hi Ty Hope :D

Sending a picture or index card is optional, however you should always send a SASE (self addressed, stamped envelope) or SAE and IRC's (self addressed envelope and international reply coupons) with each request. By doing so, it can increase your chance of receiving a reply as it makes the process of sending autographs to fans much more simpler, and you have also paid return postage.

If you do send a photo or index card to sign, you will only need an envelope big enough to fit your photo/index card. If you don't send anything to be signed, aim to send a large 9x12 inch envelope with your request.

You can send either a picture or index card, but there are some celebrities who refuse to sign index cards but may sign photos (obviously, it's at their discretion). It's up to you what you send, but I would probably recommend you send a photo rather than an index card if you do send something.

To collect autographs, I would recommend you write to someone you like, not someone who will guarantee sending you an autograph. When you do receive something, you'll enjoy your success more from someone you like. You should probably decide who you want to write to, and then check out that particular celebrity's profile page (where their addresses are listed). You can then check to see if any feedback has been recorded.

Also, check out the feedback forum to see what members have received recently

Good luck!

I'm totally new to through the mail autos. I was wondering, does it matter if you send a pic, or would an index card work as well? Which tends to have a higher success rate?

Also, anyone you could recommend someone that has a high success rate?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

Ty
