Hi everyone :D

There are two types of IRC's - the old ones that were valid up to 31 December 2006, and the current ones that are valid until the end of 2009.

These are the old IRC's which can't be exchanged for stamps anymore:

These are the new and current IRC's. They are valid up until the 31st of December 2009.

Sai - I believe you should be OK. Australia Post have been selling the new ones for a few months now.

I doubt they would sell them within 4-5 month of the experation date because thats not right

thats like trying to sell chicken that expires tomorrow, today, at full price :lol:

Oh I am sorry! I just looked at the post on IRC and I think they did sell me new ones that are valid until 2009! I looked at the pictures and it's the one with the hand on the IRC *sighs with relief* Thanx :)

Is that allowed?

I don't understand is that allowed? I mean to sell an ICR with such little time for it to be valid? Is it possible they haven't sold me some of the new ones?

Okay I have seen quite a few posts on here saying that the IRC are changing on the 31st of Dec. :?
I bought four IRC three days ago and sent them over to the UK for a celeb to use for their reply. Will this date effect them if they do not use them by this date?

I'm in a panic about it now 'cause they cost me a bucket to buy them and send everything overseas and I'm sure you all know that it takes celebs some time to reply in most cases so if this date sticks i could very well loose it all! :cry:
