Hello ManOfMiracles,

Welcome to Fanmail! :D

That's a good question - not a dumb one :D It's about finding a balance in between those. I usually start off my telling a bit about myself then some about their work and what my favourite is. Just keep it casual and it'll be great :D

I was thinking maybe 2 stamps for each envelope, so that helps.

thanks {up}

well for the 9x12 put two then for the 10x13 put 3 just to be on the safe side

Maybe you could do a little research on the celeb like what movies they were in. Songs they sing, upcoming movies that kind of things

haha there not dumb questions, dont worry

First, I usually put 3 stamps on my envelope that carries a letter and a SASE and maybe a photo, so I suggest probaly 2 or 3 for yours

Neither option for the A and B thing. Just write saying how much you love them, be a fan, be nice and ask for the autograph or whatever you'd like later on. Act like the whole reason you're writing is not just because you want an autograph

Hope this helps??

I plan to begin my autograph collection soon, i plan to use 9x12 envelopes inside 10x13 envelopes, I won't be sending any photos, maybe a backing board (as in for a comic book to help with the non-bending)
my questions is: How many stamps should I put on each envelope?

And, how do i write to a celebrity without sounding like A) someone who just wants a celebrities auto and B) some kind of fanatical stalker?

Thanks
