I agree with BossC. If you want to pay extra for UPS then so be it but I personally think you are wasting your money if you pay more than the 63 cents the US Post Office charges because I don't think sending something UPS increases your chances at all. The only advantage there is that you would have a signature on file as to who signed for the package you sent but you could do that just as easily with the USPS as well by sending it certified mail and I will guarantee that certified mail is even cheaper than sending it UPS. Just my thoughts on it. Best of luck to you either way you decide to go with getting your request fulfilled! Have a great day and be safe.

I have never used UPS for a fan letter. The US postal service only costs $.63 to send a letter and SASE, so that's what I've always used.

I'm not quite sure how UPS could be cheaper than that. :|

Hello everyone!

I'm interested in sending a request for an autograph to Dakota Fanning. I've got a friend who can arrange shipping for me via UPS for quite cheap. My question is now if sending requests via UPS will improve or decrease my chances in getting a reaction? Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks.
