Hi Josie :D

To answer your questions as best as I can:
ldy josie x wrote:1. On IMDb, what does it mean when it says “attached” next to a film name or an actor’s name? (For example- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450346/ under the cast section)
From what I understand, "attached" has something to do with an actor/actress committed to doing the relevant project. They may have signed a contract (or about to) to work on that particular project, but the actual project has not yet started production.
ldy josie x wrote:2. Why are Air-Mail stickers important to use?
They're not actually that important. You could write "Air Mail" on your letters and it do the same thing (provided you've paid enough postage for your letter to travel via air mail).

The stickers are free, and they help identify which items are to go via air mail so you don't have to write it out manually. However, provided that you've written "Air Mail" clearly on your envelope, postal workers will be able to sort your letter accordingly to ensure it doesn't travel via surface mail (which takes ages).

Yes, you use them when you are sending outside your country.

As far as I know, the stickers themselves are free. The postal worker usually puts them on the envelope after you pay for the Airmail postage.

im pretty sure "attached" means that the actor or actress is currently set to be working on the project. Like, they have landed the role.

i think that Attached means that all the info about that person is "attached" like You can click on the name and the info appears. That's what I think not sure if it's correct though :?

Hope it helped

I'll answer the second question for you.

It is important to use Airmail stickers because it designates that you paid to have the item shipped via an airplane. If there were no stickers to signify this, your package would travel to it's destination via ground or water, which would take a lot longer than if the mail was shipped through the air.

Basically, the stickers remind the postal workers to put the envelope on the plane instead of the truck or ship.

A few questions

by ldy josie x » Sun Mar 18, 2007 1:21 am

Hi all :D
There are just a couple questions I need help on.

1. On IMDb, what does it mean when it says “attached” next to a film name or an actor’s name? (For example- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450346/ under the cast section)

2. Why are Air-Mail stickers important to use?

Please help.
Thanks {up}
