my advice is don't spend a lot of money on a poster like nowandagain metioned you have to be ok with losing it and never getting it back. That's why i said don't spen too much money.

He has signed authentically in the past, but a few recent successes posted on the forum has people receiving PP's (but there was also a recent possibly authentic success too). It's inevitable that this could happen given the success of Casino Royale and the influx of fan mail he would have been receiving.

By all means, write to him and send the poster if you can afford to send enough postage for it to be sent back . Or, you can try and send a photo to be signed or just a SAE and IRC's. Either way, good luck!

Daniel Craig is known to sign authentically, at least thats what I've seen so you can go ahead & send it if you are willing to pay for the tubes & the postage like nowandagain said..just be aware of the chance that the poster could get lost..but i would go for it if i were you! GOOD LUCK!

and attempt to get it signed. The poster on allposters is only 8.99 so I would not be spending a whole lot but I see what you al are saying, so maybe what I will do is just send him a letter and get something that way.

Welcome to the forum!

When sending anything out you have to be prepared to not get it back - so you should only send the poster if you feel comfortable enough with the fact that you may not ever see it again. If you don't want to risk losing it, you might want to hold on to it and see if you can get it signed in person (e.g. at a movie premiere).

Plus, the other issue with sending such a large item is that you also have to be prepared to pay postage costs to send the poster to the celebrity, and to have it returned. As it is such a large poster, the postage costs will be fairly high both ways. You then also have to pay for the tubes to send the poster in. It can be really costly especially if you may never see it again.

Also, before you send out your poster - do a bit of research to see whether the celebrity you want to write to does respond in the first place. This may help if you do want to send out your request, as you don't want to send something to someone who doesn't respond.

If I was in your postion, I probably wouldn't send such a large item. I would hold onto large or valuable items to try and get signed in person ... if there's ever a chance to meet them

By all means send the poster to be signed, but be warned.

There is a risk in sending anything to get signed. Sometimes it doesnt make it, sometimes it gets lost at the celebrities agency or sometimes it gets lost on the way back. Also, sometimes we send a photo, but the celebrity doesnt send it back...

So, if you are willing to take the risk of sending it (which quite a few people do) then send it in a poster tube, or fold it if you want to and I wish you good luck in getting it back safely!
