i fold my 9x12 SASE into a standard size white envelope & it only ends up being a total of 4 stamps & none of my autos. have come back bent yet

Well, I send mine in 8X10, but you can fold a SASE and put it into a regular size.

Since I sent them in 8X10's a I put a peice of carboard paper in, to prevent bending, but putting DO NOT BEND should work.

I send all of my autograph requests in a 9x12 envelope (with a SASE and file folder inside), which can usually add up to a LOT of postage.

How can I cut down? Does using legal size envelopes with a folded SASE cut down on stamps?

I worry about autographs getting bent up in the mail- even when I write "Do not bend." Do you find that without a folder, your autographs come back without damage?
