Hi lotem :)

A SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) should be sent with your request if you write to someone within the country you live in. Additionally, if you are writing to someone in another country and have stamps of that country you can also send a SASE with your request.

You will send an IRC(s) (international reply coupon) with a SAE (self addressed envelope) if you're writing to someone outside the country you live in, and do not have stamps of the country you're sending your request to. The celebrity will take the IRC to the post office to exchange for stamps to stick on your SAE.

Hope this clears up your question.

If you are sending to a celeb in your country, then you only send SASE but if you're sending to someone in another country, then include a SAE and IRC.

No, you mustn't send both SASE and IRC. You send a SASE if you are sending the letter within the country you live. You send an IRC when you send the letter outside the country you live. I hope this can help you. :)
