I agree return envelope & postage is the way to go.

Most celebs get a ton of fanmail though, and simply don't have time to write out a reply.

I have once done something similar. I think I said something in my letter about, "I have included an envelope in the hopes you might be able to reply to my questions."

So include an envelope and postage for them to reply.

No. Some people don't reply to fan mail, others do. Gifts from people they don't know are usually refused or thrown away unopened. It's the luck of the draw whether or not you'll get a reply.

I intend to write fan mail to an actress in the UK and I'm not really interested in an autograph, but I would like some kind of reply. Is there anything I need to do in regards to mailing my letter in order to increase my chances of receiving a reply?
