J.D. Salinger is a recluse. I have never seen anything TTM from him. Very rarely do you even see an authentic Salinger autograph and when you do they go for 4,000.00 and up usually in letter form.

J.D. Salinger/Author Signing Question

Has absolutely anyone sent anything to him?
And is there anyway to get a signed copy of "The Catcher in the Rye" from him..as in could I send money for a new book? My book was purchased at a used bookstore and is not very "clean cut" so to say.

Just wondering if anyone has requested a signed copy of a book that you DID NOT send?
