From dictionary.com 8) :

'Autograph - verb

to write with one's own hand'

As has been said, you have PrePrints, which are not considered authentic autographs, as they are merely copies of the real thing. They are practically worthless. {down}

Those sound like pre-printed autographs. They are not considered authentic autographs. 8)

Hi Kingofspades, :D

I, from what I understand, think that those would be more or less considered PP. They are the printed on the poster, so they are not the real autograph, so I, myself, wouldn't consider them special, just an ordinary poster or card.

I am a young autograph collector and I have some signed merchandise that I am wondering if it would count as an autograph. I have posters out of magazines such as Sports Illustrated and on the poster of the person they have their sig on it but its already in the paper not freshley on their such as a pen. I also have baseball cards that are in the same situation. If anyone knows about this. please respond. :mrgreen: {thumb2}
