No problem, Des! {thumb2} I remember when I first started collecting I also thought so, but other members told me I can use any IRC to get stamps from any country for normal envelopes. {up}

Good luck collecting,
Lizanne

Hope this helps {up}

Actually, that's not true... except if I misunderstood you. {thumb2} I've traded many IRC's from different countries such as Canada, ect. and I can use those IRC's anywhere in the world for normal sized envelopes. {up} Here in South Africa, IRC's are not available so I have to use IRC's from other countries. All of my requests that I've sent out to addresses in countries such as USA, UK and France I have received so the IRC's worked. ;-) You can read more about IRC's here.

So if you can't get any IRC's in your country (like me), I will say your best bet is to buy/trade from other members here on Fanmail.biz - it works perfectly for me! {thumb2}

Good luck,
Lizanne
Hmmm ok, i just thought to get the exact amount of postage you need one from the country you are sending to. Anyways thats good info to learn!

Des

I ordered some stamps with my friend's credit card a few weeks ago (it was in December, I think). Maybe they have som eproblems atm...

I just asked my friend for lending me her card because my best friend in the US couldn't send me stamps at that time. Postage for the stamps is also very expensive. I would say the best (and cheapest) way is if you trade or if you have a friend who sends it for free (postage I mean).

Or, if you can't get hold of any I.R.C's by trading, you could explain to whoever you are writing to that you can't buy I.R.C's in your country, and would they mind sending you an autograph.... {thumb2}
