You could attempt to send at the minimal $2 USD. Some celebs will use it there (practically a $1), some will send it to America in a big thing and then send it that way (It has happened?..shocking I know!), some won't use it. But they usually won't ignore your request as if you'd sent nothing.

You could also try to send 1-3 IRCs. Look at the Collecting Help part of the forum for that!
