Some may send smaller ones, I always send 9x12 unless I'm sending via venue and I have my own picture that is smaller. I just fold up my 9x12 and put it in a regular size envelope and it's worked pretty well for me. Good luck

That's cool because Sending out the photos is whats pricey for me. I have been sending 9x12 envelopes ;). Ae most of thier photo's 8x10s or do some send out smaller ones?

I agree with John: most celebrities already have photos to send to fans and I also never send my own photos unless it's via venue. {thumb2} I've gotten great successes so far. :) I would just like to add that by sending your own photos, you [b]will not[/b] have a better chance of getting an authentic if the person sends out preprints anyways. So no, sending a photo won't increase your chances of getting a reply - an 8x10 SASE will though! :D

most actors have pics to send, I almost never send a pic unless I send via venue. just make sure you include a SASE large enough to hold an 8x10

you could try sending 6x4's instead of 10x8's. it's alot cheaper and will save you money.

I dont really think it makes a difference. They may feel more obligated to send your pic back but that doesnt necessary mean they will sign it. I never send photo's and I still get a good amount of replys.
