Does anyone know where can get good quality pictures of older actors/actresses that you can download and print them off yourself. I've found one site, but it doesn't have the variety I need.

For actors i use "tv.com'
For sports stars i use "sporting heros"
They are usally good enough for 5x3 photos.

if you want to print your own pictures try this page http://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi. but when you are picking your pictures make sure you use the advanced search and click on xlarge pictures for 8x10.

i have used that site a couple of times and found some good pictures.

You can print them on photo paper if your printer is good enough. A lot cheaper than going to Walgreen's etc. Plus, I've never seen a magazine photo fade! I've had some for over ten years and have had no problems with them!

i just print out the pics from the computer, and on regular paper, it looks fine and i also fairly recently started to send out index cards. so now ill send a pic and index card. ive sent magazine pics out a couple times but after what anne(magrot) said about acid paper i stoped, i only got one back anyway so ya.

You have to be careful with magazine pictures though. The pages contain acid and will eventually destroy the autograph. :cry:[/quote]


yeah...but I think there's some acid free spray you can get.
