It depends on where you are sending it. Are you in the US sending to another address in the US? If so, your 2 stamps should be enough. A 9X12 with a sheet of notebook paper and another 9X12 envelope shouldn't weigh more than an ounce which is 0.83 according to the USPS site. Up to 2 ounces will be 1.00

If you are sending internationally it will be more than that. Check out: http://ircalc.usps.gov/

Hey guys! I have a question. How many stamps do you put on a 9x12 envelope with a SASE and a letter in there? I have so far on it two .42 cents stamps. Do I need more?
