I think that maybe a half of my sent request I'm never going to get back...I wait for some over a year and I don't believe I'll get them...it's pretty annoying, though, when I don't get anything back from someone while the othres do...but I guess that's the risk of this hobby, you can't be sure you'll get something back and maybe that's the thing making this hobby yet more interesting. (I'm not saying I'm glad I'll never get back half of my set requests, though )

Theres many I havent heard back from too. Plus I moved a few years ago so if they had mailed them to me at that house I wouldnt have gotten it.

Ooh, quite a few. I sent out 12 to LOTR people in 2004, and I only got 3 back. Weirdly enough, the address I used back then is the same most of them are using now and they work. Maybe it was just too much mail they were getting at the height of the films to be able to reply to everyone. But it was quite disappointing back then, because I really wanted as many LOTR autographs as I could get (still do) as it is one of my main obsessions. :razz:

Then there's probably another... 6-8 others as well that I never got a reply from 4 years ago.

But I think I'm slightly wiser now, and thanks to this site and the fact I can now check addresses work and who signs well, I shouldn't have that trouble too much in the future.

how many do you have that you've never heard back from? i've got about like 20 to 30, and it's been years. it's pretty depressing.
