Well i'm just sending a pic from Oregon to California, ut i was just thinking they might be with family and not be signing.....I don't think it will get lost around this timefram but in another month it probably would.

I avoid sending international requests as last year I had a lot of stuff go missing! My mail is slow enough in my area as it is without considering the extra Christmas cards being posted etc!

I usually send Christmas cards to celebrities performing in pantomimes in my area. I've not had problems doing this so far and I've a good success rate too. Also, beginning of December 2006 I wrote to Bruce Forsyth via the good old BBC, and he wrote back to me during Christmas week and wished me a happy new year!

There are positives and negatives to writing over the festive season

I've heard that since so many people mail extra suff during the holidays many collectors don't send letters from Thanksgiving until New Years. So it is probably more risky.

Is it more risky sending around this holiday time-frame? Or will it just take longer.....
