I've been using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with tabs to separate TTM, IP, email and SFM requests.

I just found a camp rock journal I got for Christmas that I am not going to ever find useful and since my calendar is black and the dates are small- I just marked them in there

I use OpenOffice.

I've made a tabel:
* Name of celeb
* Address used
* Date sent
* What I did send (IRC's, SAE, Pictures ...)
* Date received (coloured red if it was a failure or a RTS)

And I've made a list on notebook paper of people I intend to write to :)

I have some in a day planner too. I usually do that to write down who I received from on specific days. It's kinda cool to check who I've received from when I'm having a bad day. Plus it helps me to remember to type it into the computer later on too. I'm never without my day planner, but I am sometimes without my computer.

lol I do that too...I just started doing it last March, I think. I just do it to record who I receive thru the mail every day. It's a very good idea because it's just...there. No need to pull up any excel or word documents that could be destroyed with viruses, right? :lol:

Hi! ;-)

Since I've sent out my first letter in 2006 (14 August 2006, to be exact), I've started to keep records and I'm still using the same notebook. {up} In the book, I write the following:
- Name of person
- What I sent (letter, SASE, IRC, photo, etc.) and to which address
- Date sent
- Date received
- How much the postage to send it were (quite interesting, it seems the postage in South Africa for a small envelope went up quite a lot!)

Since I started using Fanmail.biz and sent out mail the "correct way" (SASE, SAE or IRC, etc.), I've never had a RTS. :mrgreen:

Thanks!
zanne

Oh I feel so "unprofessional" now. :)

I keep my records on my calendar since I collect calendars

I mainly use a spreadsheet that I created. I don't have word, but I used Open Office.

I have forgotten to write down one or two of the people I've written to TTM but I was able to identify by the postmark and looking at the addresses I wrote down that I would like to send to. Blame that on pregnancy brain, and now lack of sleep with a newborn. :)
