I agree with Selise, it's virtually impossible. It's much easier for people to just look on their desired artist/band's website for tour info, find out the date and venue, and send off their request accordingly.

There's just too many gigs going on all over the world at once.

I could help out a bit with the venues here in the states. I send to via venues a lot, and I somewhat pay attention to the concerts coming and going here in the states. It's the 2nd thing I come on the net for besides for this site.

Thank You All So Much For Your Kind Comments..... :D
I Agree That It Would Be Hard Work, But If We All Do A Bit Each It Could Be Very Useful.

Honestly, I think it's a good idea, but it would be an absolute *nightmare* to manage. There are way too many different types of music, or comedy, or other venues out there.. I fear that it would be impossible to keep up. Plus, some of the venues don't respond as to if they pass on fanmail or not.

I send out most of my requests VV, and the concert dates change so often, most people only play one or two nights at a venue and then move on.

If you did that, you'd have to have seperate stickies for Concerts, Athletic Events, Plays, Comedy, etc..

Though it's a good idea, I think it's a logistical nightmare for one or more people to keep up with..

Just my 2 cents.

And I would do the Sheffield Arena and Sheffield City Hall.

Yeah, I find that a good idea, but it would be a ton of work. If you could pull it off...wow. lol I think it would be tough to do concerts though since there are a lot of musicians/bands that are on tour. ;)

I'd back you, although I am not really authority. However, I support this notion 100% as long as there is a section for people in the UK.

Hi Guys....
I think we should see a sticky on the forumn about all the people appaering in plays/pantos/concerts for each week.
I know it would take a lot of work, but I am willing to do it with some backing from higher authority.
And we also need to change the venues that Do/Do Not pass on fanmail... posiblly with the help of lexpo who sends out a lot VV.

Example -

Who - Kings Of Leon ( Rock Band )
Where - Brighton Centre
Address - Kings Road Brighton, BN1
Pass On Fanmail - Yes ( They Dont , But This Is Just An Example
Date ( Example ) 10th - 20th October 2010

Something Like This.
