We seem to chat back and forth here. I live in Los Angeles so if I can ever do anything to help you..just let me know. I go to every Hollywood Collectors Show seeing as I live close by. It's a real advantage for an autograph collector. Anyone that can't go to these shows can contact the promoters and they will get anyone an authentically signed photo. That's a much better way to go than all the scroundrels on Ebay.

Yeah I know about Book Soup. I actually go there sometimes when I get to LA. I didn't know she was signing there, but I figured she would. But at least I'll get a chance for her to sign my book in February.

You should have ordered her book from "Book Soup" in Los Angeles. She was there yesterday signing it. Whenever they have someone at their bookstore you can order a signed copy and pay just cover price. Whenever I can't get there that's what I do. They package well and ship quick. You can order over the phone. Check out there website. They always have celebrities there.

Yeah it's a pretty good line up this February. I think I'll go there and have her sign her new book, Wishful drinking. I just finished it and it's hilarious. Plus it's pretty cool her mom (Debbie Reynolds) will be there too. Also Beau Bridges and Eric Roberts (Thompson on Heroes) will be attending this time. Can't wait.

Hi All,

For those of you that live in S. Calif. I just checked the Hollywood Collectors website and among others they'll be having Carrie Fisher there to sign autographs. I for one am looking forward to meeting her and getting my 11X14 of her with Jabba the Hut signed. Debbie Reynolds and Malcolm McDowell will be there too.
