it would depend on the circumstance for me. i mean i would most likely try to to write the person if i was a huge fan but i wouldnt write them if i wasnt a fan just for the sake of getting a autograph. and if it was their home adress id keep it private.

I think Shambler meant would you write down the address so you can use it yourself to send your own request, not take the actual letter.
Nah id just use fanmail - even if i didnt no about it and i fancied collecting autographs i would research it.

If they had a working fanmail address, then I guess I would use that option first. But if it was a celebrity I admired who isn't known to reply, (just as an example - Gary Neville of Manchester United) I would definitely attempt their home address. Only once though, of course :D

Lol that's ok!
Me personally, I would consider it. But I think as long as the celebrity had a working fanmail address which people had received successes from I think I would write to that, I'd be too worried about annoying the celebrity! Otherwise I may give it a try.

If it was me, and I was a fan of the celebrity, I would. I wonder if any mailmen/women actually do it!

If by chance you ended up delivering mail (e.g bills) to a celebrity's home, would you take the address for yourself in order to send an autograph request there?
