With emails, I think its especially good when you get something authentic.

After all, that means that the celebrity or their agent has paid for the photo, the envelope and the postage. It is asking for quite a lot from someone.

I always feel a bit awkward when requesting them though. If you're writing an email to someone, its odd to think that someone else might be reading it and not necessarily passing it on.

Judi does sign her own autographs by hand.

I know because she also hand-wrote a note to me when she sent a photo for the auction. She also sent me a dedicated one! :lol: which was a nice surprise!

You can tell that Judi Dench is real becuase,

1) You can see the pen stroke on the paper, and
2) It has indented through the paper.

London Bombings Charity, just because the autograph is made out to you, doesn't make it real. Check around this site, there is a celebrity that sends out personalized PP's :shock: . The thing with email requests is that a lot of people just ignore them {down} . An example is Scott Adams. His email address is scottadams@aol.com. The email address works, but he doesn't honor email requests. On the other hand, some people do honor email requests {up} . Some examples are- Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, and Al Roker. So it all depends on who you send an email to.
