thanx everyone for your input. Fascinating to take the ID's, then go back to the pix of the autograph, and realize "oh yeah, NOW I see it"
I've read all the input, coming from hobbyist autograph collectors, that would know about these things. I've gone to Christies and Sothebys auction websites to see their rules, standards, commissions, etc.... It seems that what I have is below the standard of the caliber to go to an auction site like theirs. True, their specialists validate the items so there's no doubt to a buyer as to the authenticity of an item (thus perhaps raising the bids). But for the value of what I have, it's probably not worth the cost of their time (afterall, they do charge for their services of authenticating, selling, etc...)
So I'm just going to take the easy & quick route & put it on ebay. If someone else has the know-how to
further shop it around, they're welcome to
