To me, authentic is a success. Anything else isn't worth my time.

I do have a few AP and probably one or two secretarials in my collection, but I keep them separate.

I trash the secs. Sorry but I do.

An AP or PP is not a failure but honestly, who like receiving them? No one has to send you anything.

I still keep AP and PP and when someone asks if It's real I just say yes :)

i completely agree with everybody here! my favourite is to get an personalised authentic autograph! SEC and AP is the worst in my mind because they are consider "real" ..PrePrint often everbody can see but Sec and AP is harder! but yeah only authentic thanks!

I really prefer to get a personalized authentic. On the other hand, if I get a PP or AP, at least they care about their fans enough to respond. Sure I'm disappointed, but it is better than holding onto hope for years and not getting anything ever.

I consider authentic a success.
But I do keep PPs.
I haven't gotten a secretarial (as far as I know) or AP yet, though.
I only have a few PPs.
But if I get an authentic autograph from a person I have a PP of,
(like I recently sent out a Stockard Channing VV success)
I'll throw the PP out and keep the authentic, because the PP
is even more pointless. I hope that made sense :P.

authentic=success.
i keep pp and ap though.
i never send to anybody with suspected secretarial.
whenever someone looks at my collection and sees a preprint (i only have like 4) and theyre like "you got ______s autograph?!?!" im like "uhh not really"
hope i made sence.

i think everything is a success unless you are expecting a real autograph and you get a pp than that is a failure. but i think every autograph is a success

I class all of them as part of my collection, although I separate them into different groups so that when I show someone my collection I only show them the authentics, which I have most of anyway.

I agree with Hayley, obviously I'd always prefer an authentic autograph, but I'd rather receive a PP than nothing at all. It just seems like a PP is a reproduction of an autograph, and not pretending to be real, like an AP or Sec autograph. There's no way I'd send off for something that I knew was a Sec though. I could just imitate the signature myself, and save the stamps! :o
