How often do you send out requests?

Hey guys

I try to limit myself to a few every month but I realised that wasn't really working for me because I usually end up sending up to 15 per month. So what I did is decided "To Send" dates, so that I can limit myself to sending around 10 or less per 1-2 month. I sent 11 today already, at the last minute I decided to send to Opeth and August Burns Red VV in Dubai.

They'll be performing at the annual Dubai Desert Rock this Thursday.

I try and send 2-3 per week nowadays, but in late January I sent at least 6-8 per week.
I'm over that now, though.

Well, I'm starting a new collection so I have to send out as many as I can. Then, I wait a month, while I keep sending and recieving. I only write to people I admire though. {thumb2}

Yeah, to me it's not about quantity, but much rather quality. {thumb2} I also only write to my favourite stars who sign authentically, the rest I have to try via venue - so that's also part of the reason why I send out so few!

lol i know that and i always write from the heart, i was just making a comment about how much you sent this month, thats alot of money on stamps i must say.

I only send letters to people i truly like and admire that way the letters are sincere and the autographs have meaning if you get them.

I've also been collecting TTM and IP a lot longer than you!

It doesn't matter how many letters you write a month - just write from the heart and you'll have a collection you can be proud of.

wow thats so much ive been collecting ttm for 2 years almost and have only sent out about 50 letters and thats including letters ive gotten back rts and second attempts. to be honest like i said i really dont like to send to much especially since stamps in canada are up to 98 cents. but yes i also write to people only who i am a big fan of.

ive been very succesfull ive gotten 14 authentic

and 3 that are a bit sketchy

3 pre prints :neutral: and 4 rts

. not bad for someone who only sends a few times a year

I send out 35-70 in a typical month. It really depends on how much free time I have. This February alone I've sent out over 130 letters, but that's only because I have a ton of free time to write, and I just inherited a huge baseball card collection that I decided to get autographed.

And I only send out to people I actually admire, and know of. I don't send out to people just to have another autograph. I only want people I truly like in my collection.

So yeah, next month I'll probably send out less, but who knows - I've got another free month on my hands.

After I've seen enough success... I'm like "okay I HAVE to send now!" So I just send.

But I wait about a month before buying new stamps!
