I've never heard of it being canceled here but I wouldn't be surprised if it was canceled for a few days in February when we had all that snow. I wouldn't know because I never really look out for my post here anyway. If I was at home then I would have realised though.

I live in the North West of England. It would be difficult to know whether any post had been cancelled because of bad weather, because even on nice days we don't always get post, if the regular is off sick, sometimes they don't get a replacement.

When we had some snow in Februray, I think there was one day when we didn't get any post. I have no idea if it was cancelled or not, she just didn't turn up.

I live in Chicago, so we have some crazy weather here during this time of the year. I don't remember the mail ever being canceled. Nothing really closes here no matter how bad the weather is. Today it was windy and sleeting all day and night. {down}

I don't think our mail has ever been cancelled sue to weather (not that I remember anyway.)
Scotland is well known for it's rainy weather but rain doesn't stop the post man, he even comes in many inches of snow.

He's a good guy. ;-)

I'm in the south of England too and we had no post for a whole week in February. I wouldn't mind but it didn't seem like we had a massive pile when they did deliver again :roll:

I'm in the East Midlands of England but I live out in the countryside. When we had the terrible snow in Feb my post was cancelled for several days. We don't get the gritters in my area and I live at the bottom of a valley so it's incredibly difficult to get in and out of my village when it's snowing or icey :(
