he is very hit and miss - I would go round the front as he sometimes ignores the stagedor

I'm going to see Waiting for Godot shortly. I would love to get his autograph. I was thinking of getting there early to get it. How long before the show do you think I should show up? I presume I go to the stage door, not the main entrance.
