Hello, an SASE is a self addressed stamped envelope, a means of paying the return postage for an autograph you have requested through the mail. You would include this in with your letter. They are quite important as it shows the the writer is willing to pay the postage costs and not just after a free autograph. The can also improve the chances of receiving a reply too!
