I live in Germany, and I send letter to the US and the UK.

The success quote is about the same, the different is the waiting time. The replies for me from the UK usually takes between a few days and 2 months, while for the US I usually wait mostly 4 months and longer.

I was going to say it depends on where you live, I live in the US so I have more responses from the US, but then again, I rarely write anyone outside the US, only if I'm a huge fan of theirs and want their autograph

The UK. Back in 2005 I decided I was going to concentrate on celebrities I loved who were based in the US. I spent a fortune on IRCs and out of the probably..80 requests I sent to the US in that year I only ever received 3 back. I know some take a long time to reply, but I dunno what happened to so many of my letters.. :cry:

Well back in 2006 my answer would have been the USA. But since I have started collecting again it has definitely been the UK. I admire so many people from here so that's where I send the majority of my letters now :)

I have autographs from American bands whilst they were in the UK lol, so it's a bit of both really.

I have sent a few requestes to america this year and last year but they are still pending. I find I do get more successes from U.K tough.
