I haven't ever included my email address no, I perhaps might in the future. That's great that you received an email in response to putting your address in your letter!

Yes, I do, but not very often, I only include my email into letters for less known celebrities with whom I have better chance of them actually emailing me. None of them have written me an email yet, though . But I believe one day someone will do it.

Recently I've begun to write my address and email on the back of my letters I don't really expect an email from them but it's just in case. And I write my address so in case the letter gets separated with the SAE he/she can easily find it Also, I write my address and email lightly in pencil at the back of my photos so that they don't get lost or mixed with other people's either!

But yeah never tried it before, although I did get a surprise email from someone, he's not very well known, but his sister messaged me on one of my other message boards and told me he saw a fan video I made of him and he loved it and really wanted to email me himself and asked for my email, I gave it to her and like within a couple days he had emailed me saying he thought the video was great and that I should go into film, it totally made my day and since he's not famous or anything I believed it was him
