As Phoebe said, it depends on the width & weight of your letter ;-)

If the envelope is no more than 1/2cm think and under 100g then that is fine. Any more then you would need a large stamp. That is fine for UK domestic mail.

I'm in the UK, and i want to send a C5 cardboard backed envelope to a celeb as a SASE. The thing is, do i only need a normal 1st class stamp to put on it, or do i need more?
