The International System of Units (metric system) is used by the international community as a standard of measurement. Unlike the rest of the international community, the US has not officially adopted the International System of Units and continues to use its own unique customary units (ex. inch, foot, yard, mile). 8x10 is a measurement used in the US to denote inches. Only the US, Liberia and Myanmar have customary units. Every other country is on the metric system, so the measurements would be in centimeters. {thumb2}
