Normally, I would wait
6+ months before re-writing. {thumb2} However, if I happen to find a via venue address, I would write there too, even if it's only a week later (than when I send to the agency) because chances are that I could get a reply easier VV.

In the past, I re-wrote very easily because I honestly believed that I won't get a reply - that's why I have two successes from Chris Evans (
Johnny/Human Torch in "Fantastic Four" films), Wentworth Miller and Audrey Tautou.
Also, I think it also depends on who you plan on re-writing to: for example, one can only be patient when awaiting a reply from people like Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron or Rachel McAdams as they're very popular and can take months or even more than a year to respond. It's not really necessary to write to them again as they will eventually get to your letter.
