I do not recommend putting tape anywhere on a autographed photo, it's a horrible idea. The acid on the tape with fade, stain and eat away at the photo after a while.

Never tape an autograph with regular tape even when mating a photo. However you can purchase acid free linen tape.

You mean tape the auto itself? It is never ok to tape an auto. As a matter of fact I never put anything sticky or anything that can do any damage near my autos

I read on some threads here that it will ruin the auto, but even if it isn't touching the autograph, is it still not safe to tape it? :neutral:
