I always carry a sharpie everywhere I go. If even think that their might be a chance of meeting someone I'll carry index cards too.

Whenever I go up to NYC for day-trips, I bring a sharpie and autograph book.

When I was little, I used to go to WWE(F) shows. I would always bring a pen with me, one time it exploded in my pocket. Only once did I ever have a success, getting Mick Foley, Chris Benoit, Goldberg, HBK, and Stone Cold (following an after-the-show beer bash).

Those were the days.

As for vacations, not really. But I vacation in smaller locations. The one time I should have was in Florida, and I was eating in a Cracker Barrel and John Travolta walked in and ate a table away from me. Turns out my property in Florida (which we don't go to often) is right near Travolta's.

A great suprise!

On Monday i went to Paris for 5 days with my school. I felt that i had to take some index cards and a sharpie just incase. Sadly, i didn't see anyone but when i got home, i had two great successes - One from Michael Parkinson and an excellent one from Ronnie Corbett - My dad lived opposite him when he was a child, and Ronnie would always come over for a chat(and his father). Ronnie remembered this and wrote a note at the bottom of my original letter. The secretary had drawn a star next to the relevent paragraph and he replied! One of my favourite successes so far.

Have you ever taken autograph collecting equiptment on holiday?
