I've never heard of this either, but hey, you really don't have anything to lose. ;-)
Good luck! {up}

You have to work for the paper or be on the school paper. Any random person can't just request interviews that will never been seen or heard by anyone but the fan.

If you request an interview the stars agent/secretary will then decide if they are interested. If so they will contact the school or newspaper to confirm their interest in the story, find out if it's a legit interview; then they usually forward a fax with questions that are not allowed.

To actually get an interview is not a regular occurance.

I've never heard of anyone ever requesting an interview, but it's worth a shot. I don't write for any newpaper, so I will never do this. Good luck to you though! {up}

I would say you shouldn't expect it from the same person twice, since big one-time gestures are quite common, but it's definitely worth trying if you want to.

Good luck, you really don't have anything to lose.
