I feel if you don't send an item to get signed, you greater your chances of recieving a PP or AP, at least with the experiances I've had so far.

I always send photos with my request fo many reasons. It gives your better chande of getting something back in my opinion, and i love having a signed photo that I chose. Most of the time they come back signed. only occasionally unsigned with celeb's own signed photo.

I always send a photos! I believe it gives me more chance to get an authentic autograph. And what's more when I include photo I have more chance for reply, I think.
I like get signed these photos which I chose.
I didn't enlose pics only when I ask about playbill ;)

I ALWAYS send at least 4 items with each request. 90% of the time I recieve all my items returned signed and sometimes the celeb will also include 1 or 2 items. My biggest success so far has been from Matthew Modine who not only signed my 3 items and filled out my Q&A, but also sent 10 additional items all signed!

I always send a photo as I feel that it makes life easier for the celeb. I usually send a couple, not so much for 2 auto's but in case I've chosen a pic that the celeb doesn't like. Some reply with their own 10x8 anyway, which may be pre-signed or just because they don't like what I've sent I suppose!

If I have something official like cd or dvdcover I send them with my request which is very risky.I started collecting autographs last summer and even though I sent more than 10 requests I still got no reply.

Im interested to now how many people send a photo along with their autograph requests.

Please feel free to leave comments as well as voting, I am interested to know if photos often come back unsigned but the celeb has included their own photo for you and also if your photo came back unsigned and you got no autograph at all.

I am trying to determine whether I should be sending photos to celebs or if I should just write letters requesting an autograph as so far on this site I have come across differing opinions and I am wondering how these opinions effect sucess rates.
