While I do agree with above posts that providing a photo does help, as always with these things, it always varies from celeb to celeb, some you HAVE to provide a photo. Some weeks I've gotten 5 autos and I've gone as many as 3 weeks straight without anything. I've also noticed celebs that others have gotten successes from people that I'm waiting on, and we sent around the same time, It is important to remember that not all celebs are good about keeping their mail in order of the date they received them. I've noticed a couple of celebs seem to pick fanmail to sign seemingly at random.
There is also a weird thing that happens from time to time, in which someone wont get an auto from someone who is a "great signer", either something gets lost in the mail, or for some unknown reason the celeb just doesn't want to grant a specific request. Writing a good LOR is key to solve this problem. A great example is Ryan J's bad luck with Stan Lee, I've read him mention that he's sent to Stan several times with no luck
