Hi James {up}

That's cool. I guess you are old enough to decide for yourself :lol:

Seriously though, it is often very difficult to tell ages etc on this board, so I was just erring on the side of safety. :wink:

Good points. Well I am 28, so I am older, but I did not think of all that.

I always do, so they know what I look like and can put a face with a name.
Hi JamesMo {up}

Thanks for your post :wink:

This same point has been raised in the past, and I think the general consensus is that if you want to send a picture of yourself then that is fine :P

I know in past that some collectors have sent a picture and the celeb has dedicated or signed it and sent it back - which is cool for a birthday etc.

However, I would just caution against young people sending photos of themselves unless they are absolutely sure the address they are mailing is reliable. Unfortunately, there are some really nasty people out there, and remember you will be supplying your name/address and other personal details in your letter.

If they got into the wrong hands it could be dangerous, especially if you have included a photo of yourself.

I personally would advise against sending a photo unless you are 100% sure. I would not be happy for my own children to do it.

But of course it is up to the individual :|
