Hello,
Not to many great wetsern stars left, if you are talking of the real western stars of the 40's, 50's and 60's.
Although now many actors play more varied roles you could consider actors like Mel Gibson(maverick) and Kevin Costner(couple of westerns)etc.
It very much depends who you want to write to.
Many older retired stars you can write to them at their home address successfully, the younger stars, mainly thru agents and can take much longer.
So it very much depends who your favorites are
