Or in my case, it just keeps getting burried deeper and deeper as more requests comes in. Eventually, it drowns.

I've wondered about this before, too. I've written to Evangeline Lilly from "Lost" three times since 2006...and still nothing. Every time I see a large batch of Evi successes, I get excited because I'm thinking that mine is finally on its way. But it's never come. I'm going to try her one last time before "Lost" ends production. Maybe attempt #4 will be the charm... :D

Yea I go through that sometimes. It's the luck of the draw I guess. I remember a few times were it seems a lot of people got a success from a certain person, but mine never came. It makes me wonder what happened to my request. This hobby sure can be frustrating at times.

Don't you hate when someone(s) get replies to celebs that you also wrote to before or around the same time they did? I have no hate towards the person getting the reply. It's just so frustrating. For example. I wrote to Kim Delaney at her show a month ago. Someone got a reply yesterday and they sent their request in a week or so after mine. Yes, I know its a good sign that the celebs are replying from that address/venue and my reply might soon come. But, its the worry that it won't and yes...impatience. :)
