It all depends on the celebrity - I got a success from Val Kilmer at a West End stage production and another from Tim Curry in "Spamalot". On the other hand I gather some celebrities (such as Angelina Jolie and Bryce Dallas Howard) may prefer to send secretarials via venue so I usually check the feedback for an address before I write.

I've sent quite a few to via venue, especially in Canada because its cheaper for me as well! I just recently got Patrick Stewart back via X-Men 3 and I've sent to Karl Urban via 'Pathfinder' and a few others just via venue in general! I think it really depends if the celebrity has enough time to sign while filming and if they do they'll take the time to do so!! You really have to keep trying until you do receive something from them!

I hvae gotten Brittany Snow and Josh Duhamel through movie sets...there might be more, but thats all I can think of.

has anyone ever sent an auto request to a venue that the singer was playing at, or a movie set? I've sent tons of Via-Venues to venues here in Canada, but I haven't gotten anything (i even inluded a SASE with them)...

The only movie set success I got was when I sent a letter (just a letter and pic) to Lindsay Lohan on the set of Mean Girls in Toronto, and got both of my pic back signed and inscribed. it came from her fanclub in New York

So if anyone has gotten anything back, please let me know what you sent, to what celeb, what city, and how long it took... i need to know if i'm doing something wrong.
