I would support your local comic shop. Most are independently owned and operated.

borders used to carry them, dont know if they do anymore. waldenbooks too, but I think all those might have went out of business.

Other then a comic book store the only place to get them may be online. Bookstores generally only carry graphic novels these days.

I want to send a couple of comic books off to have signed...but I can't find any...

I remember when I was a kid, you could always find comic books in any magazine section, so I went out the other day and I looked in Walmart, several drug stores and grocery stores and NO comic books. Where is the best place to get them (other than a comic book store)? Mainly looking for Spider Man, Hulk, etc.
