I hate secretarials, I think it is disgusting. I mean, where is any decency?

PP can at least be nice collectables. If you are a fan and not just a collector, you will have a nice picture of your favourite celeb - and that is OK even though not so pleasing as the real deal. And you can always give it to somebody if you don´t want it. Giving away a sec and knowing, man, I´d have bad conscience.

PP. I hate secs - got my first (obvious) one last week and it angered me!

I have hundreds of IP auto's and I keep all my TTM ones separate to them. If you don't see the person sign it, you can never be 100% sure.

I'd prefer a PP. A sec is pointless, in my opinion. I could have autographed my own photo, it would've saved on stamps, too.

Although, as already said, I suppose the one advantage to a sec is that you can try removing it to use the photograph again.

PP, for sure. At least it was originally theirs.

I'd rather have a PP. While both are useless to me, a sec is (to me) the same as some random guy autographing my picture. If I want a picture signed, I don't want anyone else signing it, or else it's worthless to me.

Although I'll accept and hang on to both, I must prefer Pre-Prints. They're a step closer to real then secretarials.

If you're a serious collector you will take the time and compare signatures, you would search for different IP signature and you would compare them letter by letter to the one you recieved. This is how many of the secs are find out, because there are collector who will take their time and to such a research.

And to answer the question, both will go into the trash can, secs have the advantage that I can try to remove the signature and reuse the picture, while with PP you can see how the signature looks and this can help if you're looking into buying this autograph.

Basically word of mouth then?

I only plan on requesting people I want. Apart from John Travolta who I have read that he doesn't sign his own but it doesn't matter so much as am giving it to my cousin as a birthday present as she is a big fan if his. But even if it's not him signing it it won't matter as she won't know any difference then everybody wins hehe

I mean I had a mate who was supposed to meet Johnny Depp but didn't and she had already told everyone at school about it and she knew they would think she was lying from the off so I looked up his signture and signed some photos for her to take and give them to who she wanted to. Anyway a couple of years later and am in my other mates room and notices the JD signed photo framed on the side I told her that I signed it but she believed it was his signiture.

I just want to get David Tennants and Phillip Glenister.

Cheers Hollie :D
