Thanks for that, but this appears to be a mystery as I don't recall writing a fan letter to him. I'll have to check my list that I keep when I sent autograph request letters out.

I know him from somewhere, this is really irritating me now. I can't remember. But the person isn't Rod Stewart or Bill Nighy for sure.

Asked a few folk but no one knew. Luckily, HMV currently have a poster up bearing the same photo (my eagle-eyed friend spotted it). She says it's Paul Weller.

Having said that, the autograph bears no resemblance to his IP.
