The most I've ever gotten in a day was three, but they were all authentic and just happened to be my top three most wanted, ever. Plus, I wasn't expecting any of them, as I had sent them about 3-5 months before, and they were sent individually a few months apart. None of them used my SASE's and didn't have the names on the return address, so opening them up one at a time was insane.

But I don't go out and send 20 requests at a time, though. I think the most I've sent in a day was maybe 10. My system is I gather up a handful for people's addresses that I REALLY want to write to, and spend lots of time on the letters and envelopes, and then hold on to them until I have 5 or so ready to go, then I send them out. But since I've started I'd say I've sent about 500 requests. My average success rate is about 5-6 autographs per month.

...and another 2 surprises in the evening mail. 2 original autographs sent after 2 emails requests. First is from belgian tennis player Yanina Wickmayer and second from nobel prize winner RJ Roberts.
